For me, it might look like a walk (alone, with a friend, or a child), a cup of tea on a chilly day, my morning shake, clean sheets, fresh flowers, warming the car before kids load up, some extra thought into the meal planning to keep it fresh, healthy and engaging, taking the time to call an elderly relative, sending soup to a family with a new baby or health challenge, answering the phone with a smile, pausing to acknowledge someone's help or good deed...really, it comes down to moving slow enough to notice the details and consciously choosing how I want to participate. I choose, the best I can, the acts of kindness and love.
