I remember when I first heard my mother say that to me. The release I felt when I recognized that I was making things more or less than they were. She also tells me to "do what you can and bless the rest". I'm asked to do "my part"...that all.
MY perspective changed MY experience and I have the power to change my perspective.
Phew...not a victim. And then uh - oh...I'm in charge of it then?
It's MY job to "make it", to do my part and bless the rest. Now I can explore how I can make this day's challenge, situation, circumstance, etc be useful, find the good, the lesson, the gift, the connection, and the practice of living my optimal expression. Can you find a situation today that you could look through this lens and change your experience in it? I want to hear about it.
If my experience changes and yours does too, if we're both experiencing more Peace...wouldn't "our worlds" be better for it? I desire to live in a healthier, more well world. I know you do too.
....and even as I write, I feel better and am functioning better. I hope that is your experience as you read this and hope you'll share the thought with another. Maybe World Peace is a "your world peace" movement...and all our little worlds, collectively, come to create a huge shift in the way we engage with all our moments.
