My favorite part of this process is two fold:
1. I absolutely LOVE your emails and the reflections they offer and follow up. You support my healing process and give amazing reflections and accountability.
2. I have realized that one of my biggest trauma loops is not feeling safe. I feel 100% safe and held with you and can show up in my full self- good or bad. I don't feel judged, shamed or like I am broken. I feel honored and seen.

In a word, Lisa is a treasure. Her guidance makes so much sense and is manageable, if not easy, to apply with her help. She makes what seems complicated, doable.
I’ve been helped by Lisa with various stages/people/places depending on what’s going on in my life. It would make the world a better place if we could all have a session (or several) with OptiMom Coaching.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for doing what you do and being the amazing, loving, supportive woman you are! You have such a beautiful, caring spirit, and talking with you always leaves me feeling heard and valued. I am grateful for our conversation, and I'm not exaggerating one bit by saying I know it has changed the trajectory of my life. Your gentle guidance helped me shift my perspective and gain insight into my world. The answer I have been praying for and struggling with became clear, as did confidence that I CAN be intentional and make time without adding time. When you reflected writing (for me) is as restorative as sleep, it helped me understand in a profound way how much I need it. The day after our conversation, I received an email about a week-long intensive writing opportunity in Switzerland. While it sounded like the most amazing adventure, I smiled to myself and deleted it, since I no longer believe the only way I can fit in writing is to get away. It's something I am doing right here.
I appreciate you, Lisa.
I appreciate you, Lisa.

Through her coaching, Lisa has patiently guided me into affecting true, positive change for my family. By listening to, and helping reveal my desires, we found solutions that have brought lasting change that I once thought impossible. Together, we've worked through issues such as developing sustainable routines, pursuing nutritional wholeness, and creating a household of respect, where every voice is considered important. Working with Lisa was one of the most profound decisions I've made and I live with a hopeful future because of it.

My experience working with Lisa was an amazing one to say the least. I have been through quite a bit of counseling and therapy, but this was the first time I felt truly empowered by my counselor (coach). Lisa helped me to discover the courage within to pull myself out of a pretty deep depression. She offered simple steps that did not overwhelm me. I learned to create attainable goals, and set personal boundaries. She was such an encouragement for me to re-discover the importance of taking healthy "me time" and what a difference it makes in the midst of living such a busy life. Overall I feel I learned such a great new sense of balance in my life and am able to leave the "all or nothing" mentality in the past. I would recommend OptiMOM Coaching to any Mom struggling, or in need of re-evaluating her goals, schedules, relationships and overall health.

Motherhood is the most rewarding but hardest job you will ever have. I have known Lisa for many years and the first thing that struck me is what a wonderful gift she has when it comes to listening and actually hearing what you are saying. She does this without being judgmental. When I would reflect on our conversations I would later realize that while I was venting she was guiding me. It was so subtle I didn't think twice about it during the time. It just felt good to be heard. I wish I had OptiMOM when my children were younger, although I sure appreciate Lisa now.

Lisa - a humble servent , yet a mighty example for His kingdom. You serve those who are constantly putting others lives before their own, who are pushed to the back at times or forgotten, all mothers.
Thank you so very much for all you've done to help me learn to live, breath and focus on the eternal. To check my perspective. To be still and know, just one step, is all that is asked of me.
The progress we made over 6 months , by far, outweighs the 3 years in therapy. You're wonderful dear friend!

Lisa, I just wanted to reach out to you to tell you how very much I appreciated the OptiMom Holiday Season group telephone session the other evening. Going into it, I wasn't sure what to expect (I had never participated in such a group session before). It was really neat to be able to hear the concerns of other women in the session and recognize how similar we all were! (Solidarity!) I felt very comfortable opening up about my own concerns and hopes in such a warm and accepting space with your wisdom as the guiding center...
During the session, I was actually visualizing that I was working to create an "OptiMom" Christmas, but now, having come through a wonderfully *perfect* Thanksgiving, I realize that the insights and strategies I developed during your session were beneficial in unexpected and far-reaching ways. I can't really begin to adequately express how much that means to me!
One thing I wanted to mention - and I apologize that this is becoming a bit lengthy - I found that, because of the hour long session I had with you, I was actually in a position to offer help and calming guidance to my mother, who was hosting Thanksgiving at her home this year. I just had to share with you... Your session touched many more hearts than just those with whom you tele-sessioned! :) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!!

I'm grateful you are able to use your tools, skills, and wisdom to coach us. I've seen you coach in many capacities, in many seasons...
I've seen you coach Nick and all the other 'Hollywoods' in baseball at the ballpark (in a season of your life that many of these readers wouldn't recognize...), I've watched you assist Mark on the sidelines at the soccer field, I've heard your words and experiences of coaching the teachers, PTA, and school community about healthy lifestyle changes in the school, I've watched your hands and words work at the Atlanta Natural Health Clinic to coach the patients along their life path, I've experienced your words of encouragement and loud claps at softball, soccer, cheer-leading, and sidelined on the streets of marathons..
...as your adult daughter, I recognize the coaching that has guided me to today...the encouragement, the wisdom, the hand holding, and the stepping back...
...I witness you coaching Ella in her transition from training wheels to none...I watch you coaching all three of the little ones in life skills...manners, gratefulness, and appreciation of life and the people around them...you're doing a wonderful job...
In each season, you've given it your all - that looks different each time b/c 'your all' changes, but you've poured your complete self into this coaching part of your life...and now, I am so grateful to bear witness to your life coaching through OptiMOM...you're moving mountains for people...you're changing women's lives...your effects are rippling out into the lives of everyone around the people you touch...
throughout each coaching 'job' in each season...you offer wisdom, encouragement, love, empowerment, respect, dignity...you bring the best out of the people you 'coach'...thanks, momma...

Lisa has been such a valuable part of my healing process. The thought provoking questions about my heart and authenticity are unmatched, questions and space that have been life-giving. The way she constantly strives to see people through God's eyes, asking if it's the Highest in the situation and living in a posture and process of healing herself, supports me to be the whole Lindsey I was created to be. Lisa's advice has facilitated me to be a better human on this earth as well as be a better Mom to my sons! Thank you, Lisa, there are NO words to capture how thankful I am for all that you have walked through with me. There have been many life lessons I have learned just from being in your presence.

Earth Angel – that is how I would describe Lisa and the gifts she uses as a Life Coach to mend broken hearts. My name is Kimberly and when I met Lisa my life truly did a complete turnaround. It’s amazing how one person can make such a profound difference in the quality of one’s life is such a subtle way through conversations.
When I first met Lisa I was intimidated a bit because I thought she was so pretty, so healthy and so perfect. After talking to her I realized that she was a human being…flawed and had stories just like all the rest of us….and she was probably one of the most genuine people I had ever met. And now she is one of those people that I will never forget because she has made a HUGE difference in my life.
My emotional outlook on life is healthy. My ten year turbulent relationship with my mother is now filled with love and forgiveness. My whole life is different and filled with hope and possibilities and excitement. And that all started when I met Lisa, the extraordinaire Life Coach, who even taught me how to be “coachable”. Thank you Lisa…for making the biggest impact on my life.

Lisa Engle is a person I greatly admire. One of my primary roles for my time at Trinity was the children's ministry and being a young father myself, I looked to Lisa for guidance. I also saw how many of the young mothers look to Lisa for help and advice. I saw them growing stronger and better through her counsel. She and her husband, Mark, were so loving and patient with their own children, three of whom were in my class. And now I am happy to see that she is offering this counsel through OptiMOM Coaching. I would highly recommend it for moms, especially with the scattered nature of modern life where family often is miles away.
